The International Builders Exchange Executive has a negotiated agreement that allows IBEE members to provide RS Means publications to their own members, as a discount reseller.

IBEE members may offer RS Means publications to their own members at a discounted rate of up to 30% off the regular purchase price.

Members also have the option of offering publications at a lesser discount and receive the difference as non-dues revenue for their Exchange.

IBEE will invoice its participant members on a quarterly basis, as IBEE earns non-dues revenue of a 5% commission on the retail cost of orders placed by its members, as an administrative fee.

 

Program Details:

1. IBEE is the authorized buying/marketing group for member exchanges of IBEE.

2. IBEE Members who do not currently have an RS Means account may request one by forwarding to IBEE a letter on corporate letterhead stating that an account is requested. The request will be tracked and forwarded to RS Means and an account number will then be assigned, as will IBEE Group status.

3. IBEE Members receive up to a 45% discount on RS Means publications ordered by your exchange and for your respective members. Materials are then sold to your membership at the discount you choose up to 45%, thereby generating non-dues revenue for your Exchange. For example, when you purchase items at a 45% discount and you resell at a 25% discount to your members, you are earning a 20% reseller profit.

4. IBEE Member orders receive priority handling, rather than the 6-week standard delivery time.

5. Orders are shipped directly to Member Exchanges, expedited because of IBEE Group status.

6. Price list/order forms will be provided to IBEE members at time of membership enrollment approval, and annually as the prices and publications list changes are provided to IBEE by RS Means. Alternatively, members may request price lists from the RS Means Trade Sales Department, as needed.

7. RS Means will provide a catalog of publications for each IBEE member to IBEE, annually, which will be forwarded to members.

8. This program is for publications only and does not apply to RS Means Seminars or computer programs.

9. Member exchanges may place orders at 1.800.334.4309 or by fax at 1.800.632.6732. Alternatively, members may order directly with RS Means Trade Sales Department by contacting either John Shea or Brian Hare at RS Means Trade Sales Department at 781.422.5117 or, alternatively, contact Paula Croke at 781.422.5081 and identify yourself as a member of the IBEE.

10. RS Means Trade Sales Department shall maintain a complete list of IBEE Member participants.

11. RS Means shall provide an on-line trade sales order page for IBEE Members (currently under construction).

12. RS Means has waived the normal shipping and handling charges that they normally place on all orders that are not prepaid, but they will include actual UPS freight, about 1%, on the invoice.

13. RS Means will provide quarterly sales reports to IBEE, from which IBEE will invoice members quarterly for a 5% commission on gross retail purchases, to be paid to IBEE upon receipt in US dollars.
